Instructions
  1. Smash avocado with a fork.
  2. Squeeze the juice from the lemon over the smashed avocado. Watch for lemon seeds that may end up in the bowl. If you squeeze the lemon over a tea strainer, the strainer will catch any seeds.
  3. Add the cilantro, salt, and black pepper. Stir until well mixed and smooth.

Notes:  

The flavors will develop more if the dip is stored in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, but this isn’t an essential step.

 

Serving Suggestions:

  1. Great with tortilla chips.
  2. Add 2 tsp pomegranate seeds to take it up a notch!
