Instructions
Triple wash the black eyed peas.
In a medium sauce pan, combine the black eyed peas, masala, garam masala, turmeric, and salt. Stir.
Cook on medium high heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add the water. Stir.
Cook on medium low for 30 minutes.
