  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F. Line one large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the powdered sugar, flours, oat bran, white sugar, tea masala, and salt. Stir until the ingredients are well blended together.
  3. Add the oil, and stir until the flour mixture is completely moistened.
  4. Spread the dough on the parchment paper so that it is approximately a 9 inch square.
  5. Bake for 22 – 26 minutes.
  6. While the cookie is still warm, cut it into 16 pieces with a sharp knife. Let cool on the baking sheet.
  7. Store in an air tight container.

Notes:

Tea masala can be found at the Indian grocery store or in the international section of the regular grocery store.  It is the dry spice mix added to authentic chai.  These cookies crumble easily.
