Black Eyed Peas

Ingredients
- 15 oz black eyed peas canned
- 1/2 cup masala (link below to recipe)
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1/4 tsp garam masala
- 1/4 tsp Himalayan salt
- 1 cup water
Instructions
- Triple wash the black eyed peas.
- In a medium sauce pan, combine the black eyed peas, masala, garam masala, turmeric, and salt. Stir.
- Cook on medium high heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the water. Stir.
- Cook on medium low for 30 minutes.
