Sautéed Oregano Swiss Chard

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Wash the chard well.
  2. Remove the ribs from the chard. Slice the remainder of the leaves into ½ inch x 1 inch ribbons.
  3. Place the chard, oil, oregano, and salt in a medium sauté pan. Heat over medium high heat.
  4. Once the chard has wilted, cook for an additional 1 – 2 minutes.

Recipe Notes

Notes:

Fresh oregano could be replaced with ¾ tsp dried oregano.

Serving Suggestions:

  1. Serve with sweet potatoes (ETP recipe).
  2. Use to top corn soufflés.
  3. Serve with pasta.
  4. Use as a pizza topping.
